From Worthing to The Farm

Worthing has a growing skate scene, but many families are heading just 40 minutes inland to The Skate Farm — an indoor setup built around progression, calm coaching and beginner-friendly layouts. Whether it’s the unpredictable weather or the busy public parks, riders from Worthing are discovering that The Farm offers something different: space to learn, confidence to grow, and a community that welcomes everyone.

A better vibe for young riders

Public skateparks near Worthing can be great for confident riders — but tough for beginners. At The Skate Farm, we’ve created a purpose-built indoor space that removes the pressure. Think soft ramps, open layouts, and chilled sessions that make it easier for young skaters and scooter riders to find their feet and build up gradually.

Private coaching

If you’re looking for 1-to-1 or small group coaching near Worthing, The Farm offers weekly lessons tailored to your child’s level and confidence. Coach Tom and the team specialise in calm, structured sessions that meet each rider where they are — from absolute beginners to those ready to push further.

Friendly and inclusive

We know not all skateparks feel welcoming — especially if you're new or need a slower pace. That’s why we cap numbers, promote encouragement over ego, and are introducing a sensory room for kids who need a break mid-session. Whether your child is neurodivergent or just a bit nervous, they’ll be supported throughout.

Worth the trip

The Skate Farm is about 40 minutes from Worthing by car, just off the A27 and A23. With free parking, toilets, indoor cover and sessions running daily, it’s an easy day out — and one that often becomes part of the weekly routine. From scooters to skateboards to inline skates, it’s a space that grows with your child.

Skate Farm Rocks! My 6 yr old loves The Skate Farm, Skate Farm family and Tom. Everyone is made to feel welcome , it is a super, family friendly place, where you can get lots of support and advice from peers who are more than willing to help you achieve ‘your best’. Tom Always has time for everyone, I don’t know how he does it, but everyone needs a Tom in there life, he is calm, collective and supportive and puts you at ease he just has a way with adults and kids alike. He is ‘The Wizard of skate’ and his lessons are fun and tailored to ability but also has a way of pushing a little out of your comfort zone to achieve a little more and feel accomplished. My son just loves his time here and would have lessons all day everyday if he could.

Brilliant indoor skatepark, my boys love the different ramps and areas, also the Tech Deck area, chill out room and Posca wall! Comfy chairs and hot drinks for parents, it's a fun, safe and positive space to practice tricks and Tom is fantastic with the kids. It's my boys' favourite skatepark.

We love the Skate farm. Such a great community environment to learn to skate and practise new tricks and skills. Tom is so kind patient and knowledgeable when teaching, my son thoroughly enjoyed his 1-2-1 lesson and can't wait to go back.

Tom has a very special way of combining skateboard instruction with positive mindset, making it incredibly fun, whilst installing confidence and self-belief. My son came away buzzing with excitement, and can’t wait to practice all the skills he learnt! (And book his next lesson!)

I can't speak highly enough of this place or what Tom has built. It’s a brilliant indoor skatepark for all abilities, all ages, and everyone is welcome. The park is designed with challenging areas for advanced skaters, but it’s also perfect for beginners to learn the basics and keep developing their skills. The mini ramp is a huge hit—especially with my son Fox. Tom brings a real calmness and knows how to bring the best out of everyone. Everyone who comes here is so friendly. It’s great to see older kids and adults helping and encouraging the younger skaters, supporting them to try new things and build their confidence.

I love this place and have been down loads with my young daughter and eldest son. As a reborn skater myself, this is everything that skating should be about - all ages, all abilities, all supporting and helping each other. Tom is great with everyone and always willing to help and the place has a real community buzz about it. So whether you scoot, skate, are young or old, a beginner or a seasoned pro, get yourself down there and check it out. You will not be disappointed. I didn't picture myself at 50, getting back on a skateboard after nearly 30 years...yet, here I am!

Tom was fantastic with my 7-year-old, he really helped build his confidence and gave him loads of encouragement. It's such a great little community!
