Safeguarding policy
✅ DBS Checked Team – All staff and regular volunteers are fully DBS-checked
🎓 Trained Staff – We undergo safeguarding training and know how to respond to concerns
🛡 Designated Safeguarding Lead – Tom Johnston handles all safeguarding issues onsite
👁 Supervision – All workshops and events are properly supervised
📋 Code of Conduct – Staff and coaches follow strict behaviour guidelines
🔒 Privacy & GDPR – Personal data is protected and only shared with consent
Please speak to a staff member or email: safeguarding@skatefarm.co.uk. All concerns are handled with care, discretion, and in line with statutory guidance.
Supervise young children unless they are booked into a session
Keep emergency contact info up to date

No unauthorised filming or photography
We only post media with prior parental consent
Terms & conditions of use
Check in at reception before skating
Helmets are compulsory for under 16s, and recommended for all
Respect others. Abusive or unsafe behaviour will result in removal or a ban
Follow staff instructions at all times
Under 10s must be supervised unless in a session
Parents remain responsible unless otherwise stated
We are not liable for lost belongings — please use lockers
Lost property is stored for one month before donation
All sessions must be pre-booked online or in person (subject to availability)
Payments are non-refundable unless cancelled by us
Give 24hrs notice to reschedule
Parties/workshops require a deposit and final numbers in advance
Treat others with respect, kindness, and patience
No bullying, harassment, drugs, alcohol, or smoking
Those under the influence will be refused entry
Ensure you are physically fit for activity
Report injuries to staff immediately

We follow all relevant safeguarding, H&S, and GDPR protocols
No filming/photography of others without consent
Media for promotional use only with participant/parent consent
Participation is at your own risk
Skate Farm is not liable for injuries unless caused by proven negligence
We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted at the entrance and on our website.

When you sign up to receive emails from Skate Farm, we collect your email address for the sole purpose of sending you updates about our news, events, and sessions.

To send you Skate Farm news, event announcements, and updates, To contact you with relevant community or schedule changes.
