Whether your child has been begging for lessons or you've always fancied trying it yourself, The Skate Farm is the place to learn. Our coaches make the whole thing feel easy — no pressure, no jargon, just good people helping you get comfortable on the ramps.

We're based in Haywards Heath and welcome riders from across Sussex.

Every lesson starts with the simple stuff — balance, pushing, turning, learning how to read a ramp. There's no rushing, no showing off, and no pressure to keep up with anyone else. Just a coach, a board, and as much time as you need to find your feet.

Most people who come to Skate Farm for the first time have never stepped on a board, scooter or skates. That's completely normal here. Our coaches have seen it all and know exactly how to help beginners feel comfortable — usually within the first ten minutes.

I have been taking my son Henry to skate farm lessons for about 2 months and he loves it there , the staff are brilliant .All the coaches are amazing and genuinely want the kids to do well . Tom is an amazing owner and will go out of his way to help you . The place is always buzzing with energy and there are always deals for skateboards and equipment. I like it there so much that at 43 I bought a board to have a go myself.

We found The Skate Farm a few months ago and after a holiday camps, a few open skate sessions and 2 private lessons his passion for scooting has found a safe and fun space to grasp those first skills, meet new friends and have a lot of fun. Thoroughly recommend anyone who’s interested in skateboarding or scooting to give the skate farm a shot. It’s a wonderful place.

Everyone is made to feel welcome , it is a super, family friendly place, where you can get lots of support and advice from peers who are more than willing to help you achieve ‘your best’. Tom Always has time for everyone, I don’t know how he does it, but everyone needs a Tom in there life, he is calm, collective and supportive and puts you at ease he just has a way with adults and kids alike. He is ‘The Wizard of skate’ and his lessons are fun and tailored to ability but also has a way of pushing a little out of your comfort zone to achieve a little more and feel accomplished. My son just loves his time here and would have lessons all day everyday if he could
