the heart behind the Farm
The OG - Skating Wizard, Tom
Skate Farm exists because one person believed skating could change lives — and that person is Tom. A lifelong skater, coach, and mentor, Tom built Skate Farm from the ground up with one goal: to create a space where everyone feels safe, supported, and inspired. A place not just to ride, but to grow.
Over the years, Tom has taught thousands of young people how to skate, fall, get back up, and believe in themselves. Because for him, skateboarding isn’t just a sport — it’s a tool for confidence, connection, and self-discovery.
In 2024, Tom was diagnosed with ADHD, hyperfocus, neurodiversity, and traits of autism — and suddenly, everything clicked. His deep connection with young people who feel “different” isn’t just skill — it’s lived experience. His superpower? Helping others feel seen, understood, and valued, because that’s what he needed too.
Built from a dream.
It’s his way of coping, giving back, and showing up — not just as a coach, but as someone who knows the power of a safe space.
Whether he’s leading a one-to-one session, fixing a ramp, or simply welcoming someone for the first time, Tom brings the same energy every day: kindness, patience, and belief in your potential.
His vision is simple, but powerful:
A skatepark where no one is judged.
Where showing off is replaced by showing up.
Where community always comes first.
For many, Skate Farm isn’t just a skatepark — it’s a second home. And with Tom behind it, it’s only just getting started.
